Earthwise Learning

Leadership Options

Developing the Earthwise Learning Series (ELS) – inspiring a new generation of leadership for global social innovation – was led by Jim Wiegel,  who engaged ICA colleagues in designing and testing the four modules and leading them in Chicago, Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Kansas City, Milwaukee, New Orleans, Phoenix, and Seattle.

Leadership Options , a sixteen day program providing an experience in learning community with seven modules, three retreats and four labs, was designed and led by Elise and George Packard (brochure).   Related to the Earthwise Learning Series, its goal was to provide participants with context and skills to lead in transformative change.  George wrote a report about the 1992 pilot program.
