The solitaries are related to the interior states of an individual.
Dialogues are created with one’s interior community through the solitary practices of meditation, contemplation and prayer.
In 1970 the entire IMAGE: Journal of the Ecumenical Institute (Number 09) was dedicated to the Solitaries of the NRM: The Solitary Life of the Secular Religious – New Religious Mode, focus on the Solitary Office, Meditation, Contemplation and Prayer.
