My first remembrance of Chen I-An was when he and his family were part of the Singapore House and possibly Centrum in the early to mid 80’s. I only met him once since we moved here in 1990, that was by chance on the street. In encountering a few of his students over the years they always remark on the similarity of his spirit and that of ICA.
